"It'd be really funny if I walked up about 20 yards and you took my picture!"

You could say I kinda stuck out.

The renowned 5 storied pagoda.

Each slip of paper is someone's fortune. It's customary to tie your fortune in a little bow after you read it. My fortune was kindof so-so, and to some degree, nonsensical. I don't think the person who typed it up really knew much English...

Outside the temple at Asakusa, there is a vat of burning incense. It's said that the smoke has healing powers and that you're supposed to waft it onto any part of your body that's giving you trouble. For some reason, Chad wafted a bunch right at my face. I think he was trying to tell me I'm ugly or something. :)

It started raining on us so we ran across the street to Denny's. I guess they love penguins in Japan. The JR Suica trains' mascot is a penguin, Denny's mascot is a penguin...

After Asakusa, we went down to Akihabara where there was some sort of parade happening in the streets. These large groups of people were carrying these shrine-like boxes and playing/singing music.

This wasn't the only interesting stuff we saw with Miki in Akihabara. She took us shopping... but I didn't get any pictures of that! (sorry, inside joke)

Tokyo Tower by night as seen from Roppongi Hills. Tokyo Tower is essentially an Eiffel Tower clone.

We did actually eat at a ton of Japanese restaurants. We just had to see how the Japanese McDonald's stacked up. This is a value meal over there. Yeah, you can get McNuggets in your value meal. :)
